China Glaze Nautical Nails

Happy Saturday everyone! This is a scheduled post because sadly, I'm working at the moment. I am obsessed with anchors, and the colour navy. I pretty much love anything nautical, and I've been trying to work on my stripes lately so this design was perfect for that. You'll see that some of the colours are smudged, and that's because I was stupid and put my top coat on too early. Hahah

The navy that I used here is an older polish I have, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Blue It! I love this colour, it's the perfect navy blue and is definitely treasured in my collection. These polishes are however, quite thick so if you're going to use them, be prepared for that. 

The red that I used is part of the China Glaze Halloween 2012 collection. Roguish Red is a gorgeous colour, but it is a little bit orange. It should actually be called Roguish Orange-Red because it is definitely not fully red. In most of these pictures it does because I used several coats, and the more opaque it got, the more red it became as well.  

The white and gold are both acrylic paint, because I couldn't find a suitable white polish. Haha

The micro beads were bought off of Ebay and so were the brushes that I used to create the stripes. 

OPI Cross and Rhinestone Manicure

Hello to you all! How's your Thursday going so far? Today, I have a stamping manicure for you! Yay! Stamping! If you haven't heard of stamping then you definitely need to "jump on the band wagon". Most nail bloggers use stamping as an easy way to "amp up" their manicures. Stamping is super easy once you get the method down, and can be found anywhere on the internet. The green I used here is a colour that I've only used once. It has been hidden away in my stash and when reorganizing I came across it. OPI Gargantuan Green Grape is a matte laquer that I got at Winners one day. It goes on a little funky, as all matte polishes do and is a little streaky; but it is however a gorgeous colour. 

I decided that I didn't want it to be matte, and to help cover the streaks I stamped on it using Cheeky plate CH44 with Sinful Colours Black on Black then topped it off with Orly Top 2 Bottom Base and Topcoat. 

The grey/purple colour is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Greige Gardens. It's actually an amazing colour, and is subtle yet sophisticated. I thought that it paired with the rhinestones perfectly.

Red and Pink Valentines Day Nails

Happy almost Valentines day, everyone! So, on Monday I showed you some Valentines Day nails that were more original than the cliche pink and red. Today, I'm showing you the cliche pink and red ones! Haha. I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow, and I'll see you all on Friday!

The colours I used were: Barelements Ruby Red which is a dark, beautiful red. Colour Club Poptastic which is my favourite pink and definitely my go-to colour, and Colour Club Warhol (for the gradient). 

The black is acrylic paint.

Colour Club Almost Valentines Day Nails!

Well! Wednesday is Valentines Day, as I'm sure you all know. Since It's only Monday, (ew) I have some nails that aren't Valentines themed, but could be if you wanted. haha. I hope everyone's Monday isn't too crappy and you all have a great week. Today is me and my boyfriend's 11th month aniversary! That's crazy in highschool years! Haha. Well,

The colours that I used were: Colour Club Chelsea Girl which is a really nice blue. It's pretty much the colour  blue that I think about when I think of blue. Does that make sense? Haha. China Glaze Elephant Walk which is a grey that I probably wouldn't have picked out myself, I got it from a friend. It does however, look a lot nicer on nails than in the bottle. Revlon Whimsical is a milky glitter. It took about 4 coats to get it to the transparency as it is here. 

The flower was bought off of ebay, and are a really nice light blue lily that fades into white near the top.

I used white acrylic paint for the letters and mixed it with a bit of Elephant Walk for the shadow.

12 Days of Christmas - Candy Canes!

Hi all! I know I'm so SO SO late! But here's my candy cane nail art for the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge!   These are pretty simple, but I like them!

The stamping plate I used was Bundle Monster BM207 and the micro beads were bought off Ebay!

New Black Bows - Colour Club Take the Stage

I finally got my bows in the mail! I purchased these off Ebay, and honestly couldn't be happier with them! They took forever to get here, but it was so worth it. The rose and micro beads were bought off Ebay too!

    I did these on m practice hand, as you can see. Haha. I don't reaaally know how I feel about these, but they're okay!

I used Colour Club Pucci-Licious, and Colour Club Take the Stage. 

This was my first time using Take the Stage, and I'm really impressed. It dried strange though, and I'm not sure if that my my fault, or the polish's.

Colour Club Berry and Bright with Bows

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great morning/day so far! A couple things to say before I get to my nails. I sprained my hand somehow, so posts will be limited. I can't do nails at all right now, so I'll be posting older manis. Also, if you have any questions feel free to ask me, and I'll put them in my Tips for Your Tips Series! Well, here's today nail art!

Sally Hansen and Colour Club-Tape Manicure

Hi everyone! I'm supeeeerrr excited about this mani today! Okay, I decided to do a tape manicure. If you read yesterdays Tip for your Tips you saw that I discovered a way that makes the tape not stick to the base colour. If you haven't seen it, go check it out here! Anyway, so here's the first tape mani that I like enough to show you guys. I honestly love the way this turned out.
    The colours I used were an old Sally Hansen that I can't see the name of, Colour Club Glitter Wonderland and NYC Matte Top Coat(loveeee!!). So, i painted the nails Glitter Wonderland, used a matte topcoat and then did the whole "tape thing" with the navy blue. I added some micro beads last minute, and think they added a nice touch! What do you think? Do you like tape manicures?
