Tip for Your Tips-Broken Nails

Everyone hates getting a broken nail. It's a pain in the ass, and sometimes it's just pain! There are a number of products on the market the claim to fix broken nails. I have only tried one (Nailene Nail Glue), and it didn't fully live up to my expectations. Nailene Nail Glue (specifically for broken nails) works rather well however, if you pair it with a teabag. You can see a great tutorial on how to fix torn nails with a teabag here. She uses super glue, but I use Nailene Nail Glue instead. Super glue can be damaging to your nails and I advise you not to use it. I use Orly Top2 Bottom over the glue after it dries.
This method is extremely cheap, and also easy on your nails because teabags aren't made of chemicals like the other products out now-a-days.
What do you do when you break a nail?

I've been using Orly's Nail Rescue and I don't really like it :( It makes me nail too thick but if I file it too much then I have to do it again! ergggg LOL Speaking of broken nails I just lost a corner on my pointer last night SADNESS :( But I'm definitely going to try that! :)

    1. Oh noo:( Sadly, it doesn't always work, sometimes nothing cant fix it. I lost my middle finger tip this morning, tried to patch it, but it didn't last. So sad :(

  2. Orly Nail Mender has proven itself to me time & again! I haven't tried it on a horizontal break yet cuz I've been lucky enuf not to have any. On vertical breaks & peeling this stuff is da bomb! Yeah, it costs more than the glue & tea bag patch, but the magic is in the acrylic powder & that lil jar lasts a long, long time.
